****Lands of Redemption General HINTS****
  • All new players start with a backpack full of items. Type "get all back" to get everything from it.
  • "wie all" "rem all" will wear/remove all applicable items.
  • "wie equipmentname" "rem quipmentname" will wear/remove an individual piece of equipment.
  • To wield a secondary weapon type "sec weapon".
  • Type "autoexit" to show/hide exits in [Exits: north east south west up down] format.
  • Type "score" or "sc" to see your character's stat-sheet.
  • Type "help prompt" for information on how to change the way your hitpoints, mana, moves, etc... are displayed.
  • Players may communicate with other players in the room using the "say" command.
  • Players may communicate globally with other players using the "OOC" (Out of Character) command, the "IC" (In Character), Ask, and Answer.
  • Type "hint" to show/hide in game hints.
  • Type "color" to enable/disable colors.
  • Type "area list" to show a list of areas in the game and the levels they are appropriate for.
  • Type "help newbie" for a list of newbie friendly areas.
  • Type "map areaname" to show directions to an area. **All directions start from Market Square**
  • Players can train and practice new skills one down from Market Square at the Quest Dungeon.
  • Adventurers who are killed before level 26 may retrieve their corpse from the morgue at 1s 2w 2s from Market Square.
  • Adventurers above level 25 and up may retrieve their corpse from the Quest Master using either iqp or aqp as payment "quest retrieval iquest/aquest".
  • Typing "area" will give you a list of areas, with a range it's best suited for.
  • A small local potion shop can be found 1s 3e n from Market Square.
  • Other potions can be found in most major towns, and other areas. (So explore!)
  • Players earn bonuses at 75% and 85% explored. Type "help explored" to learn more.
  • While exploring it is important for adventurers to read room descriptions and sometimes try exits not listed elsewhere.
  • Players also may earn bonuses for time spend in-game. Type "help hours" to learn more.
  • Some of the local banks can be found 5e 2s from Market Square or 3w 2n 2e s from Market Square.
  • Additional banks can be found by typing "map banks".
  • If you are curious about a particular item a shop sells, type browse "itemname" for more information.
  • For items with similar names, adventurers may need to type "2.itemname" "3.itemname" etc.
  • Stances (fighting styles) can be read about by typing "help 1 stance".
  • Some places to stance at low level are Xanth (butterflies), Haven lake (fish etc).
  • Fragrant harbour is a good place to stance at high level.
  • Forest of Suicide and Little Ireland should not be tried alone, you will most likely die.
